Hi, I'm Lori with Godfrey Pontoon Boats. Today I'm on an XP 2500W, and I'm going to walk you through the helm. When you first sit down, you'll notice the large screens. Simply touch the master power button to get started. You'll also see the engine button, the horn, and the volume knob for your JL Audio system.
On the XP, we’ve designed the center screen to display the most important information. It’s not a touchscreen, but it shows your tachometer, speed, trim, oil pressure, and even a compass. You’ll also find GPS and fish finder functions, with the ability to split the screen between the two. Additional screens display more engine and boat information, as well as stereo zone controls.
To the right, there’s a 7-inch Innovation touchscreen that controls nearly everything else on the boat. You’ll find Bluetooth connectivity, stereo USB and AUX inputs, and navigation and anchor light controls. Press once to turn both lights on, again for just the anchor light, and a third time to turn them off. The courtesy and docking lights work similarly—tap once for low beam, again for high beam, and a third time to turn them off.
The RGB lighting screen allows you to choose your preferred colors and apply them to interior, exterior, or both lighting zones with a single tap. You’ll also find controls for the powered action tower and canopy, as well as settings for display preferences, trip data, fuel economy, and engine NMEA information.
In the top corner of the screen, you can access the camera view, which is especially helpful when docking in tight spaces. There’s also an option to mirror the Innovation screen on the co-captain’s side, allowing them to control lighting or audio while you drive.
Additional ports include AUX, USB-C, and even a 12V outlet.
